PA Forked Spear - Mykel

I was watching an episode of Dual Survival (great show, tons of fun to watch) and they were recommending that, when traveling in an area where large predators abound (they were in Africa), that a forked spear is one of the best things to carry. With it, one can pin small animals to the ground, i.e. food, and use the other end to keep predators at bay.

He's also carrying a single edged sword that can be used as a weapon or machete, and an easily concealed pistol.

The bundle you see strapped to the left side of his backpack is an ember-bundle, which makes it a lot easier to start a fire and not have to begin from scratch.
